10 REASONS WHY NIGERIA IS CURRENTLY AHEAD OF OTHER NATIONS
Nigeria isn't as
bad as the world thinks. Actually we are leading the world and this is why;
1. Other nations
are still advocating for animal rights but in Nigeria, animals now make millions
on a daily basis (recently a mysterious snake swallowed 36 million naira in a
government agency) and rats have the political power to remove a sitting
President from office, hence renovations worth millions. Nigerian VISA must be
top priority in the animal Kingdom now lol.
2. Other nations still have issues with unemployment. In Nigeria, there is so much job that we give
out appointments to the dead and recall corrupt people to handle public
positions and the government trusts them to do so with all honesty.
3. In other
nations, voting age is 18+ (for adults). In Nigeria, depending on the region,
we so compassionately allow kids their right to vote and be voted for. Awwww!
4. In other
nations, the absence of corruption makes life better for citizens, in Nigeria
it's the reverse. What a unique nation!
5. In other
nations, merit precedes public appointments but in Nigeria, what is merit when
our tribes exist? We are so original!
6. In Nigeria we
refuse to allow the west define terrorists for us. Over here, secessionist
groups with legitimate political aggressions are called terrorists while
murderous terrorists are called ‘nomadic kinsmen’.
7. In other
nations, the justice system is rigid and cruel to criminals. But in Nigeria,
all a criminal need do to evade indictment and conviction is to switch
allegiance to the ruling party. How merciful!
8. Other nations
have weaklings as heads of states, they resign when there is a vote of no
confidence on them or the faintest political pressure. In Nigeria, our
president may be medically weak, but politically strong. They’d rather die in
office than resign and watch their dear country suffer few hours of political
uncertainty. How patriotic!
9. In Nigeria, the
leadership is so focused that they can’t be distracted by news of ethnic
cleansing and genocide in their country, they just have to ignore it and focus
on more serious issues like getting more farmlands for herdsmen and marriage
for female minors.
10. Nigeria and
Nigerians are so loved by the international community that they respect our
sovereignty. For instance, a hurricane in Chicago can last for weeks on the
news headlines but the likes of CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera etc. continue to
strategically ignore the daily ruthless and government neglected massacre of
innocent Nigerians especially by the Fulani herdsmen. Shame on the UN and
international mass media; NIGERIAN LIVES MATTER!!!
Nigeria is
arguably the most interesting nation in the world right now. So much to write that
dexterousness would fail me if I continue the list.
For all Nigerians,
both at home and in diaspora, courtesy and morality demands that we can’t
remain neutral during such a time as this, we MUST all get our Permanent Voters
Card (PVC) to enable us appreciate the present administration for their
laudable works, come 2019.
And for those who
have sold or are willing to sell their conscience come 2019 polls, may the mysterious snake that swallowed the 36 million naira in government’s possession
swallow your PVC 30 minutes to the election haha.
A wise man once
said that “the hottest part of hell should be for those who maintain neutrality
in the time of moral crisis.”
